1/2 birthday Post ( 6 months old )

Six months old!!! REALLY? My baby is already 1/2 a year old. Crazy........



Noah James,
-You are six months old and wear 12 month clothes.
- I took you to Stride rite to get your feet measured and you wear a 4 extra wide. Your feet are CRAZY big. Andrew says your feet are like Shaq's. Haha
- You are still wearing a size 3 diaper, but in the next couple of weeks I am going to try to switch you to cloth.
- You had RSV at the beginning of March and had to use a nebulizer. It was awful :( But as long as we sang to you, everything was ok. :)
- You also had your first ear infection. You didn't show any signs of an ear infection, we just were at the doctor for your six month check up and they said you had one.
- You weigh 20lbs 2oz and are 26 1/2 inches long.
- You are starting to thin out a lot.
- You are rolling everywhere.
- You grab everything and put it in your mouth.
- You are the sweetest baby.
- You smile all the time.
- You are getting better in the car, but it still isn't your favorite thing to do.
- You can sit up unassisted now, and very rarely fall over.
- You started eating solids. I tried giving your purees, but you don't like them at all. So we are doing Baby Led weaning with you, and it is going pretty good so far.
- You are still sleeping in our bed, and still nursing once or twice throughout the night.
- You have two bottom teeth. :)
- You have found your boy bits, and every time I go to change your diaper, your hands are always in your business.
- You are a mommy's boy to the MAX and I secretly love it.
- Your eyes are brown, but I am totally ok with that. I love brown eyes.
- You will not take a bottle and Dr L said to quit trying.
- You are the best nurser. I love nursing you.
- You are such a joy to all of us. Your smile melts my heart and I am so lucky to call you mine.

Faithiepalooza 3.0

We originally planned on having Faith's birthday party at Stagecoach Park in Buda. BUT the weather was awful on Friday and Saturday. It rained all day long. So, last minute we called the Jummpy Place in Kyle and were able to rent out the entire place for a private party. It ended up working out really well. We didn't get to use all the decorations that we originally had planned on using, but it didn't matter. Faith had so much fun, and I am pretty sure that everyone else that came a good time too. We are so thankful to all our friends and family who came out to help celebrate Faith's 3rd birthday.

We filled her room with balloons and she hated it. She cried and was super overwhelmed. I should have known that my little Pisces wouldn't like something like that.

Happy Birthday Faith Michelle

Faith,

Today you are three years old. Words can't describe how blessed I feel to be your mommy. I never thought I could love you more than I did the day I first laid eyes on you, But here we are three years later and I love you so much more. You amaze me everyday. I have never met anyone as amazing as you. You make me want to be a better person, and everyday I try to be the mom you deserve.
You are so smart. People are shocked at everything you know and can do. It makes me so proud.
You have an attitude on you like no other. Some days you and I but heads, but there isn't a day that goes by that I don't respect your sassy little tude.
You are so funny, and your facial expressions are priceless. Just the other day at church we were all walking in and you pulled down your sunglasses looked at a lady who was dressed very different and said " what is that lady wearing?" I almost died laughing.
You love your baby brother so much. In fact, you love him so much that you don't like anyone else to touch him or play with him. You tell us that Noah is your baby! You say " the doctor went to Wal-mart and bought him for you"
You love running errands with me, and tell me all the time " Mommy, we need to go shopping! "
You still have your P when you sleep and we are trying so hard to get you to let it go, but you just aren't ready.
You are such a girly girl. You love wearing dresses and matching bows. You play dress up several times a day.
You have slowed down on how much you eat, but you overall are still a really good eater.
You are still rear facing in your car seat, and until you are 35lbs, we will keep you like that.
Noah LOVES you. You can make him laugh like no one else can. It is so awesome to see.

Tuesday Ten

1. In 5 days I will have a 3 year old. I am having a hard time with this birthday and I don't know why. It feels like my sweet baby girl was just born. How on earth can she already be three?

2. To make matters even harder for me, this month I will also have a 6 month old. My baby boy, last youngest, my last will be 1/2 a year old. Do not like it. At. All.

3. I got my hair done this past Friday and I love it!! I got copper, red, and blonde highlights in it. It is fun, and it makes me feel better about myself already. I need to post pictures of it.

4. I really need to post some pictures in general. I haven't posted any in a while and as hard as I am trying to be a better blogger I feel like I am falling behind and doing a terrible job.

5. Speaking of terrible jobs, right now I feel like a terrible mom. Faith has been acting out lately, and I really think she is bored. She went from being at school with kids to play with and a really good routine, to staying at home with me, who is running around like a crazy lady trying to take care of two baby boys and her. She needs more than I am giving her. She needs kids older than her to play with ( that is what she is used to ) she needs to have activities to do, and she should be learning and expanding that beautiful little mind of hers. I feel like she is so unhappy lately. I have to get my stuff together and work out something for her to do.

6. I am still going to zumba, and I love it. It is nice to get to work out, and it doesn't really feel like you are working out.

7. Damian and I really want to start getting outside with the kids and be more active. We all need it.

8. Our dogs have been driving me crazy. They need some one on one time pretty bad. I am looking forward to warmer weather, so we can go for more walks and play outside more. My poor pups. :(

9. I have started thinking about going back to school lately. Problem is for a while I didn't know what I wanted to do. I think I have figured it out though, and I will post more on that at a later time.

10. I am looking at homeschooling lesson plans for 3 year olds. So far, I am not happy with what I have found. Faith already knows her ABC's and can identify the entire alphabet. So I need help. What are some good websites with good lesson plans on them?
